Some nights are just a good time. Then there are nights that mean something.
R&B PERIOD. 2026 is both.
On Saturday, April 25th, LLP Foundation co-founder DJ Prosper takes the stage at Rogers Centre Ottawa for one of the most anticipated R&B events in the city. Over 1,300 people showed up last year. This year the goal is 2,000. And woven right into the heart of it is something bigger than a party.
Prosper knows what it means to fight for your life. In 2025 his kidneys failed. Four months into dialysis, his community showed up and found him a living donor. He is here today because people chose to get involved. R&B PERIOD. 2026 is his way of celebrating that and paying it forward.

This is not a charity gala. It is a full R&B dance party and sing-along overlooking the Rideau Canal and Parliament Hill. All black attire. Live DJs. Real music. Real community.
Prosper will be hosting alongside surprise guests, with music from MACE, Sweet Touch Foundation, KAM, and more.
